Gretchen & Julianne

Traveling from North Carolina Gretchen and Julianne knew Martha’s Vineyard was a special place to be united in marriage. Julianne was dressed in a sleek black dress and Gretchen chose a classic white. Their pop of color came through in beautiful floral bouquets that highlighted pink, orange, purple and green. They chose a unique location in Edgartown tucked away on Plantingfield Way under the canopy of trees to take some of their pre-wedding photos. Their yellow Jeep and a moped behind L’Etoile was the highlight of some fun pictures before the ceremony.

The ceremony itself took place on Edgartown Lighthouse Beach down the quiet stretch of sand close to Fulton Street Beach. Gretchen and Julianne’s love and joy was palatable as they played and posed before a beach goers camera. Sharing their intimate vows just before sunset, they dipped their toes into the water and ended a beautiful ceremony. A romantic garden dinner followed just a short distance away.
