Caroline & Francis

Caroline and Francis had an absolute perfect fall elopement, mid-November on Martha’s Vineyard. We can only describe it as raw and intimate perfection. Everything about this couple was laidback and had a fun minimalistic approach. From the simple dress and white roses bouquet to their short and sweet vows.

Accompanied only by the officiant and the photographer, they decided to elope at Duarte’s Pond, a more secluded location in the heart of the island, surrounded only by nature and the magnificent autumn foliage. As they had complete privacy, they were also blessed with the perfect sunset weather, light and dramatic fall colors.

The ceremony started with a short quote from one of Pablo Neruda’s love sonnets that made them remember that first date three and a half years ago, in Manhattan, when it all began. The chemistry was so strong, that they have been on a love high and inseparable ever since.

After the ceremony, the couple had an intimate romantic dinner at the Sweet Life Café in Oak Bluffs.

- Our Favorite Quote From The Ceremony –

“As you vow to celebrate each other with every ounce of your being, by growing together, and by your living, breathing devotion to one another, you are sure to have an amazing journey of marriage and a life filled with beauty, ease and grace.” – Jackie Kane, officiant
