- Summer Elopement at Edgartown Lighthouse Beach –

On a gorgeous sunny day in June, Emily and Skyler celebrated their union at the Edgartown Lighthouse Beach on Martha’s Vineyard, gathering their close family for a meaningful ceremony surrounded by the island’s beauty and vibrant energy.

The bride was luminous in her satin gown, adorned with a dramatic asymmetrical bow detail and a full silhouette that evoked iconic Hollywood glamour. Her custom bouquet incorporated dark red amaranthus, light and dark calla lilies, and two sentimental charms that honored the spirit of a loved one unable to be there in person. Inspired by Herman Hess’s words, “If I know what love is, it is because of you,” their ceremony reflected a connection rooted in authenticity, growth, and deep friendship.

Their Love Story - nearly five years in the making - was captured by their ceremony with moments both tender and lighthearted crafted by our officiant, and included a reading from the Tao Te Ching, honoring the importance of space, honesty, and compassion within a lasting love. 

The bride & groom shared a first dance on the beach to the uplifting beats of Higher Ground, followed by portraits with family who had traveled to be with them. The Edgartown Lighthouse and the spectacular sunset provided their picturesque backdrop for photos that would be shared with friends during a reception back home at a later date.

Following their beach ceremony, the wedding party returned to the family’s rental home in Edgartown where My Vineyard Concierge had orchestrated an intimate private dinner. The spread included inaugural Martha’s Vineyard lobster rolls, a wedding cake with vintage piping and cherries, and island grown flowers to celebrate the evening together and bask in the joy of their special day.
